Not all who wander are lost...
Andy, photographing in Malmö.
Andy, in an art installation at the Louisiana Museum:
Andy and I decided to take a day-trip over Malmö, Sweden. It was just a 35 minute train ride away from Copenhagen, and it was my first visit to Sweden.
We spent the afternoon walking around the town. Malmö is lovely small city with seemingly big aspirations! There were lots of shops and streets bustling with pedestrians, yet everything seemed to close after 7pm. We wandered over to the "Turning Torso," a magnificent tower building surrounded by some really cool residential areas, including floating homes and a terrific seaside park with a view of the sound.
What's up with kebabs? There are kebab places everywhere in Europe. On every block, it seems.
I always forget how amazing bread is in Europe. There's nothing like it in the U.S. Copenhagen is a great town. A classy blend of old and new.A chilly, rainy evening in our Copenhagen apartment yielded a miraculous discovery...
I wasn't sure at first, but it actually works...
This is a pretty cool spot called Bar 7 in Copenhagen.Starting to escape the deathgrip of jet-lag.
Oslo seems but a dream now. (By the way, Norwegians seem to adore American country music. Curious.)
Copenhagen is rad. The Little Mermaid statue could be the most overhyped tourist attraction of all time, however.
More soon.
Jet-lag is kicking my ass.
Also, time to reveal the next destination on my world tour.
(Second attempt at posting...)
Seriously, they don't make any sense.
I always worry I'm going to do it wrong, and end-up flooding the place or causing a room full of suds.
And they make this otherworldly noise!
